Hi Alvin,

Can you find out which processes are defunct?  Maybe do a ps -ef
and then do another one a while later and match up process IDs.

Which version of Perl are you using?

Also, if you're using a lot of CPU, make sure you don't use the
-o option, otherwise Orca spends a lot of time at start up munching
the CPU.
