I found the same problem. I resolved it by using this orcallator.se file
from
a working Solaris 8 system.

SE toolkit 3.2.1 (se -v says 3.2 but it's what I downloaded as 3.2.1),
orcallator.se v 1.32, orca 0.27b2.

The machine is a Netra X1, running Solaris 8 2/02 with two dmfe interfaces.

Starting up orcallator it bombs, leaving the following output in nohup.out;
  Fatal: subscript: 1 out of range for: GLOBAL_net[1]: Near line 178
