[Orca-users] Compiler cannot create C

Installing this on sparc-sun-solaris2.8.  I was able to get pas the GCC
issue with previous posts.  TIA.

 

root at LBPSPRFWBT1==> CC=gcc

root at LBPSPRFWBT1==> export CC

 

./configure       --prefix=/usr/local\

>                   --with-var-dir=$prefix/var\

>                   --with-rrd-dir=$prefix/var/orca/rrd\

>                   --with-html-dir=$prefix/html\

>                   --with-TYPE-log=$prefix/log   

checking build system type... sparc-sun-solaris2.8

checking host system type... sparc-sun-solaris2.8

checking target system type... sparc-sun-solaris2.8

checking for gcc... gcc

checking for C compiler default output... configure: error: C compiler
cannot create executables
