Hi,

It looks like the command you list below is trying to start Orca and
not the orcallator.se process.  Orca won't put itself in the
background.

You want to use start_orcallator to start orcallator in the background
or some of the other scripts that people have mailed to start Orca,
such as Dave Pyles'.
